This is LaNisha's first year as Principal at St. Louis Park High School. She previously served as Principal of Battle Creek Middle School for St. Paul Public Schools. Her previous experience in K-12 schools includes serving as Assistant Principal at St. Paul Harding High School, an Instructional Coach at Capitol Hill Gifted and Talented Magnet School in St. Paul, and various elementary school teaching positions in the North St. Paul, Mounds View and Osseo school districts. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree and Masters of Education degree from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. 

 

Alyssa Gardner, Assistant Principal

Gardner has served as an assistant principal at the middle school level for the past five years, including at Battle Creek Middle School in St. Paul, and in the Racine Unified School District in Wisconsin. Prior to becoming an assistant principal, Gardner worked as a high school counselor in Racine. 

 

Alonzo Parks, Assistant Principal

Mr. Parks has over 12 years experience as a successful educational leader serving in assistant principal, dean, academic and behavior strategy, community partnership, and special education teacher roles. Most recently, Mr. Parks served as the assistant principal of Battle Creek Elementary School in St. Paul Public Schools for the past three years.
