How do I excuse my student for sickness or other absences?

  • Report a student's sickness or absence within 24 hours
    • 24-Hour Attendance Line: 952-928-6045 or email us at: hsattendance@slpschools.org (Starting Dec 9, 2024)
  • Only legal guardians may excuse a student's absence
  • Please ensure that emails come from a parent or guardian's email address listed in the student’s contacts in Powerschool.

How does my student sign out for appointments?

  • Alternatively, please call the Attendance Line at 952-928-6045. Your student may also bring a signed note from your medical provider’s office or from you into the Main Office.
