Students

Our student body is diverse and ever changing. Students have the opportunity to learn with classmates from all racial, ethnic, religious, and socio-economic backgrounds. All students benefit from this experience and are given the opportunity to experience the world outside of St. Louis Park and its varied cultures.

Student Handbook - The Student Handbook outlines important school policies, expectations, and resources to help students succeed academically and socially in a safe, supportive environment. Students agree to this handbook each school year.

Course Catalog and Registration - The Course Catalog and Registration resources help students and families explore available classes, understand graduation requirements, and choose courses that support future goals.

Career and College Center - The Career and College Center supports students with resources, guidance, and opportunities to explore careers, plan for college, and prepare for life after graduation.

Student Services Office - The Student Services Office connects students with counselors, social workers, and support staff who provide academic guidance, social-emotional support, and resources for overall well-being.

Writing Center - services such as writing tips/advice, assignment help, idea generation for essays, and more! We will help you with all parts of the writing process. 

Post Secondary Enrollment Options (PSEO) - The Postsecondary Enrollment Options (PSEO) program gives high school students the opportunity to take college courses at no cost, earning both high school and college credit.

PowerSchool - PowerSchool is the district’s online portal where students and families can access grades, attendance, schedules, and other important academic information.

Schoology - Schoology is the district’s learning management system where students access assignments, class materials, grades, and teacher communications all in one place.

Central Clinic - The Central Clinic provides students with on-site medical and mental health services to support their overall well-being and success in school.

Dollars for Scholars - Dollars for Scholars is a local scholarship program that provides financial support to help graduating seniors pursue their college and career goals.

Echo - Student Newspaper - Echo is the student-run newspaper where high school journalists report on school events, student life, and community news while building real-world writing and media skills.

Echowan - Student Yearbook - Echowan is the student-produced yearbook that captures the memories, stories, and spirit of each school year through photos and student perspectives.

Library Media Center - The Library Media Center offers students access to books, technology, and research tools while providing a welcoming space for learning, creativity, and collaboration.

Senior Timeline - The Senior Timeline outlines important dates, deadlines, and events to help graduating seniors stay on track for commencement and their post–high school plans.

STORiole - STORiole is the school’s online store where students, families, and community members can purchase spirit wear and merchandise to show their Oriole pride.

The Birdfeeder -  The Birdfeeder is the school’s food shelf, providing students with free access to groceries and essential items to support their well-being.
