Volunteer opportunities
CERT volunteers for a mock disaster exercise
June 4, about 1 – 3 p.m.
Fire Station 1, 3750 Wooddale Ave. S.
St. Louis Park Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) needs about 20 volunteers to play various roles during an upcoming training for new CERT members. Roles include injured victims, media and other citizens that may be on scene in a disaster. Kids over the age of 12 are welcome if accompanied by a parent. It can be a loud, chaotic environment and we do use fake blood, so is not suitable for younger kids.
If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Meg McCormick, CERT program manager at memccormick2007@comcast.net.
